Hey everyone ;)
I'm thrilled to announce that I'm finishing the sequel to
DFF: Dead Friends Forever today.
I'm nearing the end and doing a 10K with
Milli Thornton, author of Fear of Writing to get this puppy off to the publisher. School's Out 4Ever is true thrillfest. I'm lovin' how this all turned out.
Okay, if you want to come join in the fun for the 10K day, it's never too late. Come on over:

Warmly,
Jenny:)

I'm pleased with your progress and I am just a bit envious. Would love to join you on your 10K day but today is a big cleaning/shopping day as I have company arriving tomorrow.
I have Jury Duty on the next 10K day which is the 13th of August so I won't be able to check in, but I will still be writing while I wait to be picked or not - albeit in longhand since I won't be allowed to employ any electronic devices in the jury waiting room.
Again - I'm tickled you are so close to finishing School's Out 4Ever because I can't wait to read more of Kaylee's adventures! :)
@Christy - That's great about writing along with us in spirit on Aug 13 while waiting for news re jury duty!
Just wanted to let you know I'm planning to introduce a second 10K Day event, which (by request from some readers) will be once a month on a Saturday.
I just need a few more "Ayes!" to kick that one off.
If you'd like to vote for a *Saturday 10K Day* leave a comment here and I'll add you to my list.
@J.R. Turner aka my Jenny-Bug
CONGRATS & CHAMPERS to you for finishing School's Out 4Ever during the 10K Day yesterday!! You are nothing short of astonishing.
I'm almost enough of an old lady (50 in January) to start saying: "Just watching you wears me out." LOL! But seriously, you a major inspiration to anyone who is starting out with some form of fear of writing (such as the kind of false concern about your writing that was bothering you back when we met).
And THANK YOU for introducing me to the 10K Day several years back (circa 2005, something like that). You know how this got started as a monthly event at my blog? I didn't have anyone on short notice to do a 10K Day with, so I was just going to do one alone. Then thought, "What the heck. I'll announce it in the Fear of Writing Gazette and see who shows up." It all snowballed from there. LOL!
In my 10K Day guidance material on the blog I credit you with being the one who taught me. Now many others are becoming grateful for the legacy you passed on :~)
XOXO
P.S. Champers = Aussie term for champagne
RE: *Saturday 10K Day*
Milli, Count me in. I'd love to participate!
Gotcha, Christy! You're on the list. I'll keep you posted. Thanks!
